the People behind the passion

Founder and Artistic Director

Mallory Idavoy is the founded Dynamic Artistry Dance Co. in 2023, where she remains dedicated to providing exceptional dance education through safe, intentional, and artist-centered training. With more than 30 years of dance experience and over 17 years as an educator, she believes dance has the power to shape not only skilled performers, but confident, compassionate, and resilient individuals.

Raised in the dance studio from an early age, Mallory made her stage debut at just 18 months old and quickly developed a lifelong passion for the performing arts. After 13 years as a competitive dancer, she continued her education at Florida School of the Arts as a Dance Entertainment major before pursuing a professional career teaching dance, theater, and gymnastics across a variety of styles and age groups.

Beyond the dance studio, Mallory has cultivated an extensive background in musical theatre as both a performer and creative director. Her experience as an actress, singer, choreographer, and director has shaped her belief that artists thrive when they are encouraged to explore every facet of performance and creativity.

As an educator, Mallory is passionate about continual growth—for both herself and her artists. Through ongoing professional development, specialized certifications, and a commitment to evidence-based, developmentally appropriate instruction, she strives to create an environment where every artist can safely build confidence, technical excellence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Today, Mallory leads Dynamic Artistry Dance Co. with a vision of providing more than dance classes. She is committed to cultivating a community where artists are challenged to grow, encouraged to dream boldly, and empowered to become not only exceptional performers, but exceptional human beings.

Ciearra Cunningham- Instructor

Ciearra is a Durham, NC native whose passion for dance was sparked by her childhood church’s dance ministry at the early age of 6. It then spread life wildfire to professional classes at the age of 9 with training in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, African, modern, and more.

Ciearra began her collegiate career at North Carolina Central University where she majored in Dance Education, served as a member and captain of The Lovely Ladies of eClipse, and was the principle dancer of the then, Clear Onyx Dance Company.

After recovery from a major knee injury in 2017, she returned to her passion. Coaching several teams, becoming captain of a semi-pro cheerleading team, working at Arthur Murray Dance Center, teaching adult classes, and so much more!

Ciearra is now picking up where she left off after becoming a mother and is honored to be apart of this phenomenal studio!

“DADC felt like home the moment I arrived. I felt welcomed, seen, and safe. As instructors we focus so much on making a great environment for our artists that we tend to forget we too deserve one. DADC checks all the boxes for me!”

“To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful... This is power, it is glory on Earth and it is yours for the taking.”

-Agnes De Mille

Lindsay McCutchen- Instructor

A lifelong dancer, Lindsay has trained in a variety of styles including jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, acro, and musical theatre. While she developed an appreciation for each discipline, ballet quickly became the foundation of her artistic journey and remains her greatest passion.

After six years as a competitive jazz and lyrical dancer, Lindsay chose to devote her training to ballet. As a member of the Triangle Youth Ballet Performance Company throughout high school, she performed in annual productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Dracula. She also had the opportunity to study under renowned instructors and choreographers through Regional Dance America Southeast and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, further deepening both her technical foundation and artistic expression.

Lindsay graduated with a degree in Exercise Science in 2025, combining her love of dance with a strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and injury prevention. She is passionate about helping artists develop proper technique, build strength and flexibility safely, and create healthy habits that support lifelong success in dance.

Inspired by ballet's ability to tell stories without words, Lindsay loves helping artists discover their own creativity through movement. She is proud to be part of the DADC family and is excited to continue growing alongside her fellow educators while inspiring each artist to reach their fullest potential.
