Dynamic Artistry Dance Co. Privacy & Policy Agreement

At Dynamic Artistry Dance Co. (DADC), your privacy and trust are of the utmost importance. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in alignment with our commitment to safety, transparency, and professionalism. 

• Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will clearly identify the purposes for which the information is being collected.
   
• We collect and use personal information solely for fulfilling those specified purposes or other compatible purposes, unless we obtain consent or are required by law to do otherwise.
   
• Information is collected lawfully and fairly, with the knowledge or consent of the individual or their legal guardian when appropriate.
   
• Personal data will be relevant, accurate, complete, and kept up to date for the purposes for which it is to be used.
   
• All personal information is protected by reasonable safeguards against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
   
• Information regarding our data management practices is readily available upon request.
   
• Personal information is retained for up to two years following unenrollment, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed unless otherwise required for legal or administrative reasons.
   
• Student records, including emergency contact information, are securely stored and used strictly for emergency purposes during studio hours or events.

As most of our students are minors, personal data is collected with the understanding that parental or legal guardian consent is implied at the time of registration. Guardians have the right to request access to their child’s stored information or request corrections at any time.

Dynamic Artistry Dance Co. does not sell or share personal information for marketing purposes. We may use trusted third-party service providers (such as our registration platform or payment processor) solely for operational needs. These vendors are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

All digital records are stored within secure, password-protected systems. Payment processing is managed via PCI-compliant, encrypted platforms to ensure the highest level of security.

Your artist’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being is a non-negotiable priority at DADC. Our commitment to safety extends far beyond physical precautions:

• All instructors and administrative staff are YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) certified, which includes comprehensive training in abuse awareness, CPR, mandated reporting, and injury prevention.
   
• Our policies prohibit one-on-one private instruction or communication with minors without parent/guardian knowledge or consent.
   
• DADC maintains a no-tolerance stance on physical, emotional, or verbal abuse.
   
• The studio is monitored by 24/7 recorded video surveillance in all public spaces (excluding restrooms, basement, and back alley).
   
• While classrooms are not monitored live, all footage is archived and used for safety, training, and investigative purposes as needed.Customers have questions, you have answers. Display the most frequently asked questions, so everybody benefits.

All student accounts are enrolled in automatic payments at the time of registration. This ensures seamless tuition processing and uninterrupted class participation.

• Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
   
• Families may opt to pay by cash or check as long as payment is received prior to the 1st. If payment is not received in advance, the default autopay method will be charged on the 1st.
   
• A $10 late fee will apply if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
   
• Payment options include credit/debit card, ACH (bank draft), check, or cash.
   
• Processing fees are as follows:
   
  • Credit/Debit: 3.05% + $0.30
     
  • ACH: 0.80%
     
  • These fees are charged directly by the payment processor and are not a profit to DADC.
    

• Tuition refunds will be issued only if no classes were attended during the tuition month. If a dancer has attended even one class, no refund will be granted.
   
• Refunds are issued as account credits, not cash or card returns, and do not include reimbursement of processing fees.
   
• All other refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be denied at the discretion of the studio director.

DADC reserves the right to take and share photography and videography of students for use on social media, website, advertisement, etc. Student personal information including their last name will never be used in conjunction with a photograph of them, as to identify them directly on public posting platforms.

  Discounts must be directly discussed with the studio director prior to the start of the season, or at the time that discount requirements are met. All discounts will be applied individually and will not be combined as a whole percentage.

It is the student/parent responsibility to ensure that dancers are in attendance for their weekly classes but understand that illnesses, school commitments, and other things could hinder their ability to always be present. We require that parents inform the instructor and/or director of the absence prior to class start time. Absences based on the student/parent obligations cannot be made up, nor refunded and/or prorated.

 Students who are more than 10 minutes late to class, without prior communication to the instructor and/or studio owner, will not be permitted to participate in class and will not be eligible for any refund or prorated tuition.

  DADC will do their best to ensure there is quality instructor coverage for all classes through the season but in the event of any cancellations, students will be permitted to take a makeup class during any other class that is level appropriate based on the instructors’ guidance within that following week. Classes can only be made up within 7 days of the cancellation but will not be rescheduled nor eligible for any refund or prorated tuition.

  While DADC does not have a specific uniform that dancers are required to wear within class, there are certain styles of clothing that are required for each class. These uniform requirements are imperative in the safety and improvement of each of our artists and if not followed, will prohibit a student from participating in class. Rather, the student will be required to observe and take notes on instruction and correction they witness during class time.
