Artistry 1- suggested ages 4-6, or beginner skills; Artistry 2- suggested ages 6-9, or intermediate skills; Artistry 3- suggested ages 9+, or advanced level skills.
An Acrobatic Arts Certified program, adding a level of fluidity in movement to gymnastic based skills, this class allows dancers to learn various flips and balances. With a focus on strengthening each acro dancer, they will learn tools to safely and confidently perform skills such as cartwheels, backbends, back walkovers, aerials, back handsprings and more.
This class builds posture, flexibility, balance, strength, musicality, self- discipline and confidence, which is the core of every dancers abilities. As the basis of dance, it is used in the foundations of many other dance genres and is imperative to the proper training of all dancers.
This class is a musical theater style class, where dancers will learn to dance, sing and act. They will use these skills to learn how to perform in character, and bring a character to life onstage.
This combo class encourages the creativity of movement while instilling the basics of ballet strength and technique. This class is intended for artists ages 2 to 4.
This combo class consist of 2 energetic dance styles: Tap and Tumble. Combo Artistry Classes are best suited for artist ages 2 to 4.
This class gives dancers the opportunity to put aside all the extra movements and hone in on the flexibility, strength and technique it requires to grow in their art. This is not a recital class.
This style features movements which can be rigid, fluid, fast, slow or a mixture of all of the above. Its a very expressive form of dance, often done to upbeat music with heavy or very clear beats. Dancers will learn isolations using multiple parts of their bodies to create rhythms matching those in the music.
This energetic styles combines the basics of ballet, modern and African dance, ads upbeat music and gives dance some attitude! Jazz promotes strength, flexibility, musicality and coordination which are used to prefect an artists leaps, turns, balances and other skills. Classes will include warm up, across the floor, center and choreography.
This class uses conditioning and training where dancers work towards perfecting known, and learning new, leaps, jumps and turn combinations and progressions. This class focuses heavily on strength, placement, and flexibility. This is not a recital class.
Contemporary and lyrical ar two styles with many similarities, differing mainly in the way the movement is performed; sharpe vs smooth. These dance forms train an artist to express emotion in their choreography by using their bodies.
Danced with a special shoe meant to allow the artist to make sounds with their feet, forming rhythms and beats from the movements.
All levels and student placements are based primarily off of technique and skills which will be evaluated during class instruction.
